The high temperature grades of high temperature valves are divided into five levels, namely, the valve working temperature t>425~550℃ is PI grade, the working temperature t>550~650℃ is PII grade, the working temperature t>650~730℃ is PⅢ grade, the working temperature t>730~816℃ is PⅣ grade, and the working temperature t>Mae gradd 816 yn radd PV. Gellir dewis prif ddeunyddiau falfiau tymheredd uchel gradd PI a PⅡ o ddur di-staen sy'n gwrthsefyll gwres fel ZG 0 Cr19Ni11Ti, ZG1Cr18Ni9Ti, 321 a 321H neu CF8, 304 a 304H. Os defnyddir y falf tymheredd uchel gradd PI ar gyfer dŵr a stêm, gellir dewis WC6 a WC9. Os mai dŵr, stêm ac olew yw'r cyfrwng, gellir dewis CS (ZG1Cr5Mo) a duroedd tymheredd uchel Cr-Mo eraill. Gellir dewis duroedd gwrthsefyll gwres CFSM, 316 a 316H ar gyfer graddau PⅢ a PⅣ. Gall gradd PIV hefyd ddefnyddio CK-20, 310 a 310H o ddur di-staen nicel cromiwm uchel sy'n gwrthsefyll gwres. Gall falfiau tymheredd uchel gradd PV ddewis deunyddiau rhesymol a all fodloni'r defnydd o'r falf yn ôl ei gyfrwng gweithio, pwysau gweithio a'r dull dylunio arbennig a fabwysiadwyd. Fodd bynnag, dylai'r dur gwrthsefyll gwres Cr-Mo a ddefnyddir mewn falfiau tymheredd uchel gael ei smeltio mewn ffwrnais arc trydan a dylid defnyddio proses mwyndoddi sy'n gwrthsefyll tymheredd uchel.
